We handle your bookkeeping, taxes, and back office so you can focus on finding and closing your next deal.
IRS‑Enrolled Agent & Certified Bookkeeper (AIPB) | GP & LP in a NYC multifamily deal | LP in a 216‑unit Florida self‑storage deal
Most accountants don't understand refis, capital calls, or investor reporting. We do. If you're building a real estate portfolio, you don't need another generic CPA. You need a back office that speaks your language and keeps your portfolio investor‑ready.
If this sounds like you…
Here's what changes with a real estate‑specific back office:
We review your entities, properties, books, and current systems to see what's broken or at risk.
We clean prior periods as needed and set up your real estate chart of accounts, entities, and reporting.
Each month, we handle your books, reports, and tax prep so you can focus on deals.
For qualified cleanups, if we don't get your agreed-upon entities and backlog months fully GAAP-clean and current within 30 days of you giving us what we need, we'll keep working for free until we do — and credit you one month of service.
I'm Rio, founder of Precision Back Office. I started as a real estate investor first. I couldn't find accountants who really understood my deals, so I learned it myself and have been running my own books and tax strategies for years.
Along the way I became an Enrolled Agent and Certified Bookkeeper. Now I bring both sides of that experience to other investors.
Real estate investors, GPs, LPs, landlords, flippers, STR hosts, and small operators who want to fully outsource bookkeeping and tax.
Your back office is all the financial and administrative work that keeps your deals running behind the scenes: bookkeeping, reconciliations, entity and tax paperwork, investor/lender reporting, and handling IRS/state notices. In other words, we handle the numbers, records, and compliance so you can focus on finding, improving, and exiting deals.
We're based in Miami, FL and work with investors across the U.S. Most of our clients are remote. As long as your properties are in the United States, we can support you.
An Enrolled Agent is a federally licensed tax professional admitted to practice before the IRS. It means I can represent you directly with the IRS on tax matters, and I'm required to stay current on tax law through ongoing education.
No. We only provide tax services for ongoing bookkeeping clients. That's how we keep your numbers accurate and your returns right.
Not necessarily. Many clients keep their existing CPA relationship. We handle the real‑estate‑specific bookkeeping, back office, and prep work so returns are easier to file and more accurate. If you don't have a CPA, we can file for you as well.
We primarily use QuickBooks Online as the accounting source of truth, plus tools like Fathom and Dryrun for reporting. Many clients also use property management systems and investor portals; we treat those as your operational systems and make sure they tie out cleanly to your GAAP books. For secure communication, document exchange, and deliverables, we use TaxDome so your records aren't flying around in email.
Yes. For qualified cleanup projects, we have a Clean & Current Guarantee: if we don't get your agreed‑upon entities and backlog months fully GAAP-clean and current within 30 days of you giving us what we need, we keep working for free until we do and credit you one month of service. The details are spelled out in the engagement letter.
Most clients have two parts: a one‑time Cleanup & Setup project and then an ongoing Monthly Back Office retainer.
After your free Real Estate Back Office Audit, I'll outline exactly what needs to be cleaned up, give you a clear monthly quote, and a fixed Cleanup & Setup fee so you know the total before you decide.
If you're serious about growing your portfolio, your back office can't be an afterthought. Let's get your books, taxes, and reporting cleaned up so you can focus on deals.
